Cedar nuts are the seeds of the Siberian cedar and ripen inside its cones. Slightly smaller than pine nuts, they have an intense, finely nutty flavour with a subtle resinous note. Ideal for pesto, salads, vegetable dishes or as an aromatic topping. Lightly toasted, their flavour becomes even more pronounced.
