Shipping

You have the option of choosing between postal delivery, pick-up in our shop in Zurich or bicycle courier within the city of Zurich. The minimum order value is CHF 20. Since we offer the same prices in our online shop as in our store in Zurich, shipping costs are added for delivery. If you order by post and the invoice amount exceeds 200.- CHF, we will send the parcel by registered mail. If you do not want this, you can leave a note in the “Comments”.
Please check the delivery address again after receiving the order confirmation, so that no unnecessary return costs and renewed shipping costs arise, which must be covered by you in the event of incorrect information.

Important note for heat-sensitive items (e.g. chocolate):
Heat-sensitive items sent by Swiss Post will be delivered to you by Priority in summer heat. Here it is important that you receive the parcel personally so that it is not unnecessarily exposed to the heat. If this is not possible for you, we recommend that you provide a different delivery address, e.g. your business address. This option is also useful for delivery by bike courier if you cannot receive the parcel in person.

Wordwide

Shipping is CO2-compensated by post. The shipping costs depend on the weight of the parcel and the country of the recipient and are shown at the end of the order process. For parcels weighing 2 kg or more, you can choose between the Eco and Prio options.
Please note that we only send goods abroad with advance payment. Furthermore, import tax and possibly customs duties may be charged. These costs are usually charged upon receipt of the parcel and are collected by the respective customs office.

Pick up in our shop

You are welcome to collect your order from our shop at Münstergasse 19 in Zurich.
Select the desired products at home, send us your order and we will prepare the items for you. As soon as your order is ready for collection, you will receive an e-mail from us.
Our opening hours are: Monday – Friday 9:00 – 18:30 and Saturday 9:00 – 17:00.

Bike courier

Within the city of Zurich, your order can be delivered by bike courier.
The shipping costs are CHF 11.- up to 5 kg delivery weight, CHF 16.00 up to 15 kg. Delivery is Monday to Friday.
Orders placed by 10:00 a.m. will be delivered in the afternoon of the same day.
Orders placed before 15:30 will be delivered the next morning.
Please note that we only offer this service with prepayment.

Delivery times and desired delivery date

Orders placed before 14:00 will be dispatched on the same day if possible.
Orders placed on Friday afternoon, Saturday or Sunday will be dispatched on Monday.
You have the option of specifying a delivery date when completing your order. Please note the delivery times (Prio/Eco) of the post office. If you are unable to receive your order in time (e.g. due to holidays), please contact us as soon as possible to adjust the order accordingly.
Please note, however, that this is only possible as long as your order has not yet left our shop.

Different delivery address

You also have the option of giving us different delivery and invoice addresses (e.g. gift delivery). Under “Comments” we will gladly accept further instructions or requests, which we will take into account as far as possible.

Damaged package

Despite the best possible packaging, it can happen that a parcel arrives damaged. In the case of external damage, it is best to check with the postman whether the goods are damaged. Please inform us immediately of any damage that only becomes apparent after opening the package and we will discuss the next steps with you. In order to be able to assess the damage, please send us informative photos by e-mail to info@schwarzenbach.ch  

Non-receipt / package loss

As soon as your order has left our shop, you will receive a detailed delivery confirmation by e-mail. This confirmation will include a direct tracking link and the tracking number of your parcel so that you can follow the progress of your delivery. If you have not received your parcel within the regular delivery time, please contact us to initiate an investigation into the whereabouts of your parcel.

Missed delivery

Swiss Post makes 1 delivery attempt. The parcel will then be available for collection at a post office for 7 days. If you are unable to collect your order within this period, the parcel will be returned to us.
We reserve the right to pass these costs on to you.

Transfer of risk and benefit

Once the parcel has left our shop, we can no longer accept responsibility for it. On the postal route, this lies with the post office or the bike courier and after delivery with the customer. Please bear this in mind especially if the parcel is left outside the front door or with a neighbour.

Packaging material

For the benefit of our environment, we make sure to (re)use recyclable packaging material. Furthermore, the filling material consists of corn starch and is fully compostable.
