This rose water gets its characteristic delicate floral aroma and flavour from nature-identical rose flavouring. It is a versatile ingredient for baking and cooking and adds a subtle rose note to desserts, pastries, and oriental specialities.
As early as the Middle Ages, rose water was mixed into marzipan. In French, Iranian, Indian and Arabic cuisine, it is customary to flavour dishes this way. Typically Indian, for example, is the yoghurt drink lassi. The Turks love their dessert Güllac with a rosy note. This rose water is produced completely naturally and is pasteurized.
