Arunanchal Pradesh Black Tea, Akiya Estate

Arunachal Pradesh lies at the easternmost tip of India, along the politically disputed border with China. In the south of the region, close to neighbouring Assam, lies the Akiya tea garden.
In terms of flavour, this tea is reminiscent of classic Assam teas. The large leaves are interspersed with numerous golden tips. The strong, well-balanced infusion has a full-bodied aroma with a delicate malty note. A characterful tea that can be enjoyed both on its own and with milk.
