Crafted from fine cacao sourced from the Dominican Republic, this organic chocolate bar is sweetened exclusively with date sugar instead of refined white sugar. Its flavour reveals harmonious notes of dates, molasses, and dried fruits.
Since autumn 2018, the South Tyrolean manufactory Karuna has been producing wonderful chocolates. Katja and Armin, the founders, place great value on ethically traded and organically grown fine cocoa. For sweetening, they use Fairtrade raw cane sugar from Brazil. The organic cocoa butter is pressed from Nacional Arriba cocoa from the area around Los Rios and Esmeraldas in Equador. The almonds and fruits used are also organically produced. The packaging is also completely organic.
