Dragon fruit comes from a type of cactus. It contains many fine seeds that develop a delicate, nutty aroma when dried. The vibrant purple colour is especially striking. As a topping for muesli, granola, yoghurt, and smoothie bowls, or mixed into bars and energy balls, it adds an eye catching highlight and a mildly sweet crunch.
The small pieces measure approximately 10 × 10 mm.
