Bukhara raisins are a distinctive variety native exclusively to the Samarkand region along the ancient Silk Road. Traditionally hand-selected by small-scale farmers, they are gently dried in the shade to preserve their natural aroma. This slow drying process prevents the fruit sugars from caramelising, allowing their original, intense flavour and natural sweetness to remain fully intact — without the addition of oil.
