The cocoa for this chocolate originates from Ebier Suth Cokran near Rensiki in West Papua, Indonesia. Surrounded by lush rainforest landscapes, it is cultivated sustainably by small scale farmers. The milk chocolate reveals a complex flavour profile with notes of tropical fruits, black tea, roasted hazelnut and caramel.

“Casa Cacao” is more than just a manufactory for exceptional chocolate – it is also a hotel and café. In Girona, near Barcelona, Jordi Roca and his team have been producing exquisite chocolates since 2018. Casa Cacao sources the cocoa directly from the producers and endeavours to reflect the full richness of a cocoa bean in its chocolates. “Each origin, each producer, each batch, each production shows one of the thousand faces that make up the life of cocoa: the soil in which it has grown, the climate that has determined its life, the producer’s work on the soil and on the plant, or the different processing after harvesting, especially during the fermentation and drying phases.”
