A specialty made from whole mustard seeds that are pickled in a vinegar marinade, giving them a soft, slightly crunchy texture similar to caviar. The vinegar and a touch of salt naturally preserve the mustard without additional preservatives, allowing it to retain its quality and flavour for up to four months after opening when refrigerated.
The fine sweetness of the honey harmonises very well with the slight spiciness of the mustard. Wonderful with smoked fish, tofu or crunchy cooked vegetables.
Once opened, store in the refrigerator.
