This dark single-origin chocolate from the Amazonas Series, made with 80% cacao sourced from Awajún communities, is sweetened with panela, a traditional unrefined cane sugar. Full-bodied and well balanced, it reveals delicate roast and woody notes on the palate.
Elemento Chocolate crafts its products in Lima, Peru, using aromatic fine cacao grown by the indigenous Awajún people of the Peruvian Amazon. More than 500 smallholder farmers benefit from fair pricing, training, and fermentation centers, while preserving the rainforest through traditional agroforestry methods. Each batch of cacao is roasted with precision: Elemento designs individual roasting curves for every chocolate to accentuate unique flavor nuances. The “Trilogy of Roasting”, light, medium, and dark roast, invites chocolate lovers to taste how roasting shapes aroma and complexity. The collection is completed by a dark chocolate sweetened with panela, an unrefined whole cane sugar that adds a distinctive depth of flavor.
