We source this Sencha from the southernmost tip of Japan in Kagoshima Prefecture. This very popular variety comes from the summer harvests. Its cleanly worked leaf of dark green colour produces a slightly tart cup with delicate hint of spices. Its aroma is distinct and determined by a fresh, clear taste, which is accompanied by the typical fine Sencha sweetness.
