The dried, unroasted cacao nibs (cocoa pieces) come from Arriba Nacional cacao of Hacienda Limón in Ecuador. Situated at the foot of the Andes, the plantation’s tropical, humid climate and mineral-rich volcanic soil provide ideal conditions for a delicate cacao aroma.
These aromatic, slightly bitter cocoa nibs with delicate nutty notes are highly popular as a crunchy topping for muesli, yogurt or ice cream, as an ingredient in energy balls, or for baking and cooking.
