Meadows, steep pastures and vast spruce forests define the landscape of the Naintschgraben region in Austria. For this double-fermented honey, fully ripened combs are placed back into the hive, where the bees rework them a second time. The result: a fantastic aroma of fir, moss and thyme, combined with an exceptionally thick, luscious sweetness.
Gruber Beekeeping is a family business based in the Melk district, run by Johannes Gruber. As a second-generation migratory beekeeper, he produces pure organic honeys with over 200 bee colonies, moving from blossom to blossom in search of unique flavours. His work is defined by sustainable beekeeping, species-appropriate hive management and skilled craftsmanship, all reflected in the quality of his honeys.
