The mountainous region of Nilgiri is located in the southwest of India. Its teas have similar characteristics to those from neighbouring Ceylon. The Kairbetta plantation produces a “special production” from the first pluckings of the year, a wonderful first flush plucking that cannot be compared to other teas from this region. It has a large, slightly twisted, dark leaf. The infusion inspires with a full-bodied, fine-fruity aroma, accompanied by a pleasant freshness.
