The cocoa beans from Honduras are characterised by a natural smoky aroma that is deliberately preserved during roasting and recipe development. The combination of smoky and tobacco notes with a gentle sweetness of vanilla and ripe fruits such as banana makes this chocolate an exceptional and refined indulgence. The cocoa is sourced from the Asociación de Productores de Pico Bonito in Atlántida, where 216 small-scale farmers work sustainably on small plantations to preserve the unique character of Honduran cocoa.
The Notes de Fève manufactory is located in Matran, near Fribourg. The chocolatiers adapt each recipe to the specific harvest to bring out the characteristic aromas in the best possible way. Each chocolate is made from carefully selected cocoa and processed individually. The cocoa beans come from selected growing regions in South America, Africa, and Asia, known for their exceptional cocoa varieties.
Ethical principles and transparency are fundamental values. The goal is to promote fair, sustainable trade and foster a conscious appreciation for high-quality chocolate.
