The “Phuket Single Origin Cacao Powder” is produced without alkalisation, preserving its original aroma and delivering an intense, natural depth. It features a warm, full bodied cocoa profile and is well suited for preparing drinking chocolate or enhancing sweet and savoury dishes.
The cocoa comes from a single farm in Phuket where Warit, co founder of Paradai, grew up. The farmer is his mother, who cultivates cocoa alongside various other crops using natural methods. The beans are fermented on site and further processed in the family owned workshop located in Phuket’s historic old town.

Paradai, founded in 2016 by friends Phurich and Warit, means “friendship” in Thai. The cacao is sourced directly from smallholder farmers, without intermediaries, ensuring that the entire value chain remains in the country of origin. Paradai’s passion lies in giving their Bean-to-Bar chocolate a distinct and unique signature. Through careful and individual fermentation of the raw beans, the aromatic profiles of the different cacao varieties are optimized to unlock their full potential.
