The cocoa beans for this chocolate come from the eastern side of the Rwenzori Mountains, in the border area of Uganda and Congo. The tiny 2-3-acre cocoa plantations are run mostly by women. This fascinating 80% bar was made in honour of the birds of Uganda. A bold, balanced cocoa flavour unfolds on the palate with notes of cherries.
“Making art through chocolate” is the motto of Katalin Csiszár and Zsolt Szabad, and anyone who has held and tasted their chocolate knows it to be true. The Rózsavölgyi team works with traditional methods and pure ingredients to capture the most natural flavours, combining meticulous craftsmanship with contemporary design to create an unforgettable experience – a true work of art.
