The cacao beans from Trincheras, Venezuela, are roasted at very low temperatures to preserve every bit of their natural flavor. The region around Trincheras has an ideal microclimate, with abundant warm rainfall, and the cacao grows on steep terrain, shaded by tall trees. Despite its high cacao content, this chocolate is exceptionally fine and well-balanced, with tropical wood notes, a long-lasting taste, and minimal bitterness.
