A specialty made from whole mustard seeds that are pickled in a vinegar marinade, giving them a soft, slightly crunchy texture similar to caviar. The vinegar and a touch of salt naturally preserve the mustard without additional preservatives, allowing it to retain its quality and flavour for up to four months after opening when refrigerated.
The pleasant spiciness of this mustard caviar can be enjoyed on its own with grilled dishes, but it also adds a fiery kick to a wide variety of sauces and dressings. It can also be wonderfully combined with honey for marinades.
Once opened, store in the refrigerator.
