The organic tea garden Sakhejung is located in eastern Nepal and is run exclusively by women. At an altitude of over 2 000 metres at the foothills of the Himalaya mountains, exceptional and characterful specialty teas are produced with clear provenance and great care in cultivation.
In the cup, the tea shows a bright golden-yellow colour. The aroma is lightly spicy with an elegant muscatel note, supported by fine, well integrated tannins. The tea is rounded, balanced, and harmonious, impressing with calm depth and a clear, structured profile.
