Nepalese teas are comparable in taste to those of their neighbours Darjeeling and Sikkim. The Shangri-La plantation is located in the eastern part of Nepal at an altitude of about 1600 m above sea level.
The purchased batch has a well-fermented, medium-length leaf with light leaf tips. The cup presents a fragrant, aromatic infusion. A fine tannic acid perfectly underlines its full flavour.
