Located in the southeast of Darjeeling, near Kurseong, the renowned Jungpana estate is one of the region’s traditional tea gardens. Established in 1899, it is known for its consistently high quality. A large part of the production is now carried out under organic conditions, with a strong focus on sustainable cultivation and careful processing.
The tea gardens are situated at elevations of around 1,000 to 1,500 metres, giving the teas their fine aromatic profile and clear structure. The combination of altitude, climate and meticulous hand plucking makes Jungpana one of the most respected sources for high-quality Darjeeling teas.
On the nose, this 1st flusg tea is floral and clear, with delicate blossom notes. On the palate, it is fresh and well balanced, with a subtle, gently integrated astringency that provides structure without dominating.
