Singbulli is located in the south of Darjeeling, nestled in the hilly landscape above the Balasan River and close to the renowned Makaibari estate. Established in the 1920s, the garden is today considered one of the respected producers in the region.
The first flush teas from Singbulli have long been among the most appreciated spring harvests of Darjeeling. The first tender leaves after the winter dormancy are carefully picked, resulting in a bright, floral and lively tea with a fine structure and elegant freshness.
On the nose, this tea is distinctly floral with a clear, fresh aroma. On the palate, it is full-bodied and multi-layered, with a delicate spiciness and nuanced character. The astringency remains pleasantly restrained, giving the tea an elegant and well-balanced structure.
