Darjeeling black tea, 1st flush Singbulli

Singbulli is located in southern Darjeeling, nestled in the rolling hills above the Balasan River and close to the historic Makaibari tea estate. Established in the 1920s, the garden is now regarded as one of the region’s leading producers. Singbulli’s First Flush teas have long ranked among Darjeeling’s most highly prized spring harvests. The first tender leaves picked after the winter dormancy produce a bright, distinctly floral and lively infusion. The aroma is intensely floral and fresh, while the palate is full-bodied and complex. Pronounced tannins give the tea a brisk, vibrant character and an invigorating finish.
