Hatidubi smoked tea originates from Assam in northeastern India. This robust black tea is traditionally smoked during the drying process, combining the full-bodied, slightly malty character of Assam tea with a balanced smoky note.
Its copper-coloured infusion is smooth, rounded and distinctly woody. Compared with Chinese Lapsang Souchong, the smoky flavour is milder.
