The rather dark milk chocolate made from goat’s milk and cocoa from Hacienda Victoria in Ecuador will delight you. You can expect a spicy, finely sweet chocolate with a nutty flavour reminiscent of fine butter biscuits.
“Casa Cacao” is not only a manufacturer of exceptional chocolate, but also a hotel and café. In Girona, near Barcelona, Jordi Roca and his team have been producing wonderful chocolates since 2018.
Casa Cacao buys the cocoa directly from the producer and tries to express all the richness of a cocoa bean in a chocolate.
“Each origin, each producer, each batch, each production shows one of the thousand faces that make up the life of cocoa: the soil in which it has grown, the climate that has determined its life, the producer’s work on the soil and on the plant, or the different processing after harvesting, especially during the fermentation and drying phases.”
