This exceptional black tea is produced in Sri Lanka’s central highlands, near the city of Kandy. Its carefully processed, lightly twisted leaves contain numerous delicate tips.
The golden to chestnut-brown infusion has a fragrant, floral character. The tea is full-bodied, smooth and well balanced, with a pleasant freshness and delicate tannins. Compared with a Uva Highlands tea, it is somewhat milder and less astringent.
