This exceptional rarity comes from the mountainous Mae Salong region of Thailand and is produced by the Doi Chang coffee cooperative. It is grown without pesticides or chemical fertilisers.
Similar to the production of oolong tea, the coffee leaves are carefully rolled and gently dried. The infusion is aromatic, pleasantly honey-sweet and slightly earthy. Its caffeine content is lower than that of coffee or traditional tea.
