This organic Bancha is produced from carefully selected, mature tea leaves. Its medium-sized, slightly coarser leaves produce a rich, golden-yellow infusion with a pleasantly herbaceous and well-balanced character. Compared to delicate spring harvest teas, it is less fresh, but particularly smooth and harmonious.
As Bancha is made from later-harvested, more mature leaves, it naturally contains less caffeine than green teas produced from young shoots. An uncomplicated tea, perfect for everyday enjoyment.
