The fruity organic cacao from the Toledo region in southern Belize meets lightly roasted Arabica coffee. Delicately balanced, it reveals fine espresso notes, floral nuances, and a hint of caramel on the palate.
Since autumn 2018, the South Tyrolean manufactory Karuna has been producing wonderful chocolates. Katja and Armin, the founders, give high priority to ethically traded and organically grown fine cocoa. For sweetening they use Fairtrade raw cane sugar from Brazil. The organic cocoa butter is pressed from Nacional Arriba cocoa from the area around Los Rios and Esmeraldas in Equador.
