This rarity thrives on the island of Sunda, a neighboring island of Lombok, Indonesia. Unusual about the Cubeb pepper (Kubeben) is the firmly grown, small stalk. The pepper is aromatically spicy. Very refreshing is the menthol-like character, which presents itself in the palate as a fresh lemon taste.
Ideal with pigeon, lamb, duck, guinea fowl, fish, crustaceans, goose liver and sorbet from citrus fruits or apricots.
