Port is one of Portugal’s best-known sweet wines and has a long tradition. It takes its name from the port city of Porto.
This 10-year-old Tawny owes its exceptionally smooth, elegant character and distinctive light brown colour to its long ageing in small oak barrels. Its complex bouquet of cherries, plums and ripe fruits gives it a remarkable depth of flavour.
It pairs particularly well with cheese, chocolate and desserts. Slightly chilled, it can also be enjoyed as an aperitif with dried fruits.
