The Nilgiri Mountains are located in the south of India. Glendale Estate is located near Coonoor at an altitude of around 1700 metres above sea level.
This white tea speciality is produced in a similar way to Chinese Pai Mu Tan and was produced in the cold weather period at the end of December/beginning of January.
It has a light-coloured, slightly twisted, voluminous leaf with whitish leaf tips. The cup is bright yellow in colour and exudes a beguiling, fresh scent. Subtle fruity notes (peaches) dominate the palate, supported by a finely accentuated, restrained tannic acidity.
