This cocoa comes from Cameroon, cultivated by Alexis Touon and his team in the Nkam region. The cocoa beans are sourced from three generations of cacao trees, giving the chocolate its bold character—the most intense in the entire Notes de Fève collection. The pronounced bitterness and coffee notes are complemented by vegetal and floral aromas of green tea and juniper berries. This exceptional chocolate reflects the depth and complexity of the cocoa grown on the unique 30-hectare plantation in Ngondo-Yabassi.
The Notes de Fève manufactory is located in Matran, near Fribourg. The chocolatiers adapt each recipe to the specific harvest to bring out the characteristic aromas in the best possible way. Each chocolate is made from carefully selected cocoa and processed individually. The cocoa beans come from selected growing regions in South America, Africa, and Asia, known for their exceptional cocoa varieties.
