Bergamot is a rare citrus fruit from Italy and is used whole for this syrup. It gives the drink a sour and slightly bitter flavour and is excellent as an aperitif with gin.
All Sirupier de Berne products are naturally crafted from the juices of dried herbs or fruits, without any flavour enhancers. Their long shelf life is due to a combination of sugar, citric acid, and hot filling. The vibrant colours result from gentle processing. Cloudiness is harmless, simply shake well before use.
Do not store in the refrigerator.
