Yogi Tea has its origins in India’s holistic healing tradition. Served as a hot infusion, this aromatic spice blend is pleasantly warming and soothing. Enjoyed cold, it is refreshing and invigorating. Prepared with black tea, milk and sugar, it forms the basis of a classic Masala Chai (or Tschai).
Preparation as Chai
Bring 10 g of Yogi Tea spice blend to the boil in 1 litre of water, or pour 1 litre of freshly boiled water over it. Leave to infuse for at least 5–10 minutes. Add 6g of black tea, if desired, and leave to infuse for a further 5 minutes. Strain, add milk and sweeten to taste with sugar or honey.
