Acacia Hills Coffee Estate is located in the Ngorongoro Highlands in Tanzania, one of Africa’s most impressive coffee-growing regions. At around 1,850 metres above sea level, the coffee plants grow in volcanic soils, under natural shade and in a cool highland climate with regular rainfall.
Since 2007, the farm has been run by Leon and Aideen Christianakis with great care and a clear focus on quality, sustainability and precision. What was once a neglected farm has been transformed into an internationally recognised coffee project, now known for producing high-quality specialty coffees.
The coffee is 100% shade-grown and cultivated within an agroforestry system. This helps preserve biodiversity, soil quality and the natural balance of the surrounding environment. Each harvest is carefully evaluated on site in the farm’s own cupping lab to ensure consistently high quality.
This Kent variety offers a mild, nutty cup profile with low acidity and a pleasantly long-lasting finish. A fine, balanced coffee with beautiful clarity and a smooth character.
