Unlike other Japanese green teas, Kukicha uses not only the tea leaves but also the stems and leaf veins. Thus, it contains less theine and is also suitable for evening enjoyment.
The infused leaf gives off a pleasant scent of dried grass. The infusion is medium-bodied with a nice aroma and discreet tannins.
