This rarity comes from the area around Anji, Zhejiang province. Among tea connoisseurs very sought after and appreciated, its leaves have a lot of amino acids, in particular a 3 to 4 times higher theanine value. Theanine is said to have a very soothing effect (rather relaxing), its taste is wonderfully full-bodied, can also be described as “umami”.
The long, delicate leaf produces an infusion of light olive green. Its aroma presents itself wonderfully broad, with a slightly sweetish nuance.
