This specialty coffee comes from the Okapa region in the eastern highlands of Papua New Guinea. At elevations of around 1,200 to 1,500 metres above sea level, the coffee plants thrive in cool temperatures and fertile volcanic soils. The coffee cherries ripen slowly and are carefully processed, resulting in a clear, multi-layered aromatic profile. A value chain that is as direct as possible, from farmer to export preparation, further shapes this coffee.
In the cup, it reveals a clean, well-structured profile: floral notes, mild spice and pleasant sweetness combine with delicate acidity. A balanced, complex coffee with a distinctive character and an elegant, long-lasting finish.
