We source this very beautiful, slightly fruity, delicately sweet Matcha from Kyōto prefecture, from Uji.
The green tea ground into powder is mainly used for the Japanese tea ceremony. You mix the powder with water in the matcha bowl with a bamboo whisk.
More and more, matcha is also used in the kitchen, for beverage combinations and for baking.
