We source this matcha from the south of Japan, from the Kagoshima prefecture. It is a high quality Matcha from organic production.
The green tea ground into powder is mainly used for the Japanese tea ceremony. In the matcha bowl, the powder is mixed with water with the help of a bamboo whisk. More and more Matcha is also used in the kitchen, for drink combinations and for baking.
