The Finnish glögg Loimu (“Fire” or “Ember”) is lovingly crafted from natural ingredients using a traditional recipe.
For the 2025 vintage, Finnish blueberries were macerated in liqueur. The berry extract, refined with Christmas spices and sugar, was then mixed with red wine and a hint of ginger and vodka. During the subsequent storage period, the aroma was able to fully develop before the finished drink was bottled in elegant bottles at the end of September, ready for enjoyable moments on long, dark winter evenings.
Preparation: Heat the ready-to-drink mixture in a pot or cup to approx. 60°C. Do not boil!
